True Grit: The Lives Behind The Comics
Recently, I was asked by the Alberta South Chapter of Graphic Designers of Canada to moderate a pretty cool panel - True Grit: The Lives Behind The Comics - featuring the following industry professionals: Troy Nixey, Riley Rossmo, Nick Johnson and Ben Rankel. Of course, I said yes. This event will be a nice start to an already geektacular week in yyc, with the annual Calgary Expo closing out the month, April 27-30. Do you want to go? Of course you do. Come say hello. Here's the nitty gritty:
Location: The Plaza Theatre in Calgary (1133 Kensington Rd. NW)
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m (Doors at 5:30 p.m.)
Tickets:
- Early Bird (by Apr. 20) = $15 (after Apr. 20 = $20)
- Student (by Apr.25) = $15
- GDC member = $18
