Panel One 2018: Another super funny interview with Nick Johnson

The following interview was recorded, and written by Chris Doucher, Managing Editor for GeekNerdNet. (GeekNerdNet.com is the Official Media Sponsor of the 2018 Panel One Comic Creator Festival)

I have known Nick Johnson for many years, and not only is he one of the funniest people I know, he’s also a damn good illustrator and writer. This guy does it all, draws, writes, sings, dances and can banter in an interview over beers like no other. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you an edge-of-your-seat conversation recorded at the 2018 Panel One Comic Creator Festival after party. We talk about a lot of his work, from The V-Card to his latest book Nick Johnson: All Of Me, and even a special (silent) appearance by artist Cam Hayden.

Okay, back to Nick. He talks about the process of working on the V-Card and how he could focus his art in helping to tell the story. The latest work that he’s excited to talk about – and you’ll be excited to pick it up – is his first retrospective short story book, Nick Johnson: All Of Me, a title inspired by Farah Fawcett. There’s all of this and many more shenanigans and laughs, so have a listen. Hit play on the Soundcloud link and (as Nick might say it) take in all that Nick has to offer your brainpan.
