While at the second annual Panel One Comic Creator Festival (P1CCF) earlier this summer, I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Chase Kantor, writer for the series The Saga of the Jack of Spades. At that time, issues one and two were available, with issues three, four and five set to roll out throughout the remainder of 2017. In fact, issue three became available back in early August. The story is definitely an original one, as Chase puts it: "It's all about the story behind the deck of cards." This story is a labour of love for Kantor, as he has been trying to put it together for the past eight years. But, you know what they say, good things come to those who wait, and quite frankly, this is really one of those times where great things come to those who wait.
