Artist and writer, Shea Proulx, has a couple of books under her belt already - the first, Alice in the Womb and next came ABC Monstrosity. I recently caught up with her at the Edmonton Expo and talked to Proulx about her latest book, Alice At Naptime, published by Renegade Arts Entertainment. A book that spans almost 10 years, Proulx talks about the process behind this beautifully woven visual poetry that focuses on her daughter. Next to come from Proulx is an updated version of her hit book, ABC Monstrosity, which will soon be re-released in full colour from Renegade. Another cool tidbit about Proulx is that many of her immediate family members all work in the arts and entertainment industry, which is pretty damn cool and you can learn more about them on their site: We Shot The Messenger. But, before you do that, listen to the full interview with Proulx below.
