Ashley Hartley is Director of Marketing and Fund Development for Panel One Comic Creator Festival. Today, this grassroots comic show is celebrating its fifth anniversary. Which is a big feat for this small - no, let’s call it Boutique show. Yeah, that’s it. (Nailed it!) This boutique show takes place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and now - five years in - has a large, almost national reach in Canada. Hartley and I talk about the impact the pandemic has had on the festival.
