Publisher Renegade Arts Entertainment, based in Canmore, Alberta, Canada, has brought together more than a handful of Albertan comic creators—writers and illustrators—in a new anthology called: Alberta Comics: Home. Plus, I am happy to say I’m making my comic writing debut in this very book, with a story called A Long Distance Hug, illustrated by my good friend and artist, Jackson Gee. The book features 43 short stories which cover an array of genres, including humour, horror, slice-of-life and so much more, all inspired by the theme of “home.” Today, September 12, 2022, Renegade Arts launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise awareness for the book and to reach as many readers as possible in Alberta, and beyond the province as well. Hit play on the video below to learn more about this massive project and how you can back it right now! And below, check out the gallery featuring just a small collection art from some of the stories you’ll read in this exciting 224-page book.

***UPDATE!!!! This Kickstarter campaign surpassed its fundraising goal the night of September 13, 2022. WOOHOO!!***
