Once again, I had an absolutely fantastic time catching up with Brenda Hickey and Troy Little at a convention. This time, it was at Fan Expo Vancouver 2020. Since I first met (2018) this super nice wife and husband creative duo from Prince Edward Island, Canada. Hickey has finished an epic run as artist on My Little Pony for IDW, and she recently successfully funded a Kickstarter campaign for her graphic novel, Halls of the Turnip King. Get your hands on this book. I regret not picking up my copy this past weekend. Next time! Troy Little has been working on the second series of Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons: Painscape. And I cannot recommend the first series and second series enough. This is five-star gold nerdom. What a great series of books so far. My nerdy heart is hoping for a third instalment. Come on, IDW and Oni Press - do this!

Little is also launching a Kickstarter campaign for the final book in the Angora Napkin Eisner-nominated series. The Kickstarter will launch in May 2020. The two creators have such a great dynamic and respect for one another’s work, and they recently launched their own company called Pegamoose Press. Go there, check out their work, and support them. Before you head over to their site, listen to their fun interview in full. You’ll be glad that you did.
